On Šipan you can explore charming beaches, eat local food in various restaurants and stay in one of the hotels or guest houses. For many centuries Šipan was a part of a rich maritime state called the Republic of Dubrovnik and numerous beautiful historic buildings stand there as a reminder of that era. Some of those are actually summer houses built by the Dubrovnik nobility, most distinguished being the Sorkočević summerhouse in Šipanska luka, and the summer villa of Skočibuha in Suđurađ. In more recent time, Šipan was visited by the King and Queen of Belgium and the Princess of Monaco with her family. It seems the bluebloods still enjoy spending their summers there, so why wouldn’t you?

Šipan is a place for everyone who wants a little peace and quiet and who wants to experience the Mediterranean way of life. What better way to travel to Šipan than by a TP Line catamaran sailing there every day from Dubrovnik at 19:10 in high season from June to September.
